Rotary is a worldwide organisation of more than 1.4 million members in 46,000 clubs across more than 200 countries.

The Rotary Club of Ballymena was founded on 27th September 1943.  The first President was the late J D Caruth.  The Club has gone from strength to strength and, today, it comprises men and women from all walks of life, united in their commitment to ‘Service above Self’.

Members enjoy fellowship with each other as well as with others outside the Club.  Members join Rotary because it provides an opportunity to give something back to the community, both locally and further afield.  A glance at the list of Projects supported will provide an insight into the work which is carried out.
